Scavanging through my links, I discovered a real gem that is the Red Blob Games site:

Hi! I make interactive visual explanations of math and algorithms, using motivating examples from computer games.

Not only the explanations are super-clear, but there are also a ton of hints on programming and implementations.

This will hopefully give me the impulse to restart studying Fortune’s algorithm on Voronoi diagrams…
